A time was had!

We are happy to report that an unforgettable time was had in Tampa Bay Labor Day weekend!

So, what’s next?

Here are some next steps and updates moving forward.

Still want a t-shirt?

If you are interested in ordering additional 2024 Reunion t-shirts, they are $20, and we will need your order no later than September 23rd.  Please email mosesandsusanbudden2024@gmail.com with the number of shirts you would like and the sizes.  We have a minimum shirt requirement to place a new order, so if we do not get enough requests, we will not be able to order additional shirts. Once we reach the minimum order, we will reach out to collect payment.

2026 Family Reunion

The next Moses and Susan Budden Family Reunion will be in 2026 and will take place in our home state of South Carolina.  If you are interested in being a part of the Reunion Planning Committee for 2026, please email mosesandsusanbudden2024@gmail.com, and you will be contacted to participate.

Thursday Night Meet and Greet

The team worked hard to pack and distribute the Reunion Swag Bags just in time for our Mix and Mingle!  Family spent time eating, drinking, and laughing into the late-night hours!

FRIDAY Family Picnic

Friday started with breakfast at the hotel. What a beautiful site seeing all those reunion tees first thing in the morning.

We loaded up the bus and headed to Ballast Point Park. Bethune’s BBQ made sure we were well fed at the picnic as we played bingo & cards, kickball, strolled along the beautiful Tampa Bay, and jammed out to some old school music.

FRIDAY Night Fun

Some family members stayed in and attended Bible Study, while others hit the town!  Many took the trolley to take-over the downtown Bowling Alley for some friendly competition. Others explored the Tampa nightlife and tried out local restaurants and bars.  Many hung out in the beautiful hotel sharing stories with one another.

Saturday Free Day

Lots of ladies took advantage of the free time to go shopping at malls and outlets while some of the guys found sports bars to ensure they didn’t miss out on important games.  And the rest of the family, well- they had a ball at the Roof Top swimming pool…

…the highlight was the much anticipated re-enactment of oldie but goodie family reunion skits of the past…. Mr. Postman was back with a new and younger version and the Marvelettes were stunning as ever.

There was even a surprise guest who got in on the fun.

Saturday Night Banquet

We began our banquet with a bittersweet moment honoring those that have passed away since the last reunion. Their earthly presence will be forever missed, but we felt their spirit with us the whole time. Forever in our hearts: Earl Ramsey, Stanley Montgomery, Eugene Montgomery, Marie Beale, James and Pearlie Budden, Ola Mae Budden, Carrie Ann Budden, Charondi Montgomery-McIver, Gwendolyn James McCants and Celine Ella Sanders.

The Banquet proved to be the perfect end to an epic weekend! We explored Florida’s top Aquarium while indulging in hand-passed yummy appetizers. Shortly after, we headed downstairs for our banquet where we indulged in a delicious dinner, danced until our feet hurt, and participated in tons of raffles! There were plenty of laughs, tons of hugs and the city of Tampa was full of our love.

A time was had.

Hope to see you before 2026, but if we don’t, we can’t wait to do it again in a couple years.
